AUGUST ALSINA TO PERFORM ON VALENTINE’S DAY WITH TREY SONGZ

August

R&B heart throb August Alsina will be opening for Trey Songz during his 2014 Valentine’s Day show at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Casino. If you weren’t already convinced to switch up your Valentine’s Day plans with Trey, then this should be the icing on that special chocolate cake!

Alsina, a New Orleans native, hit the scene in early 2013 with his first single “I Luv It,” and has since graced the industry with his smooth vocals and charming looks. “I Luv It,” features Trey Songz and Chris Brown on the remix, and could be a possible performance for the Valentine’s Day show.  His debut EP, Downtown: Life Under the Gun featured his first hit and was released last August. Downtown gave critics a chance to rave about the new, 20-year-old vocalist and introduced him to the spotlight in the music industry. Alsina’s first studio album, Testimony, is set to be released in April 2014, so what better way to sample his vocals than this Valentine’s Day?

Tickets can be purchased for $75 or $95, at www.foxwoods.com or www.ticketmaster.com, with the show beginning at 8:00 pm Friday, Valentine’s evening. Seriously – if you don’t have plans or can’t think of a gift for your friend or significant other, don’t miss out on the perfect opportunity to make it a Valentine’s Day to remember with the two R&B stars.

It would’ve been good if he showed up! Or at least let his fans know he wasn’t able to perform but sending a tweet out or something !
